Southeast Colorado Hospital District Ambulance Service provides 24/7 emergency medical services throughout western Baca County and surrounding areas —regardless of the time, weather, or holiday.
Based primarily in Springfield, our EMS team serves approximately 1,900 square miles, including Springfield, Pritchett, Campo, and the Two Buttes Reservoir. We also assist with coverage in eastern Baca County and neighboring areas when needed. SECHD Ambulance Service responds to approximately 500 service requests each year, providing emergency response, standby services, interfacility transports, and advanced life support throughout our region.
Our team is made up largely of local, highly-trained Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics who are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
