Emergency Medical Services covers 2,556 square miles with
four QRTs (Two Buttes, Pritchett, Campo, and Kim), and a
24/7 ambulance service with three ambulances providing basic
and advanced life support.  EMS provides safety education at schools and training for the public in first-aid, CPR, farm safety,
and child safety.  Southeast Colorado Hospital is an EMT
training center for the state of Colorado.
