This 16-bed unit is a special, secured unit designed
for the care and treatment of Alzheimer’s residents.
We also care for residents with other types of
dementia and behaviors. Rooms have been decorated
with particular attention to the effects of color and
pattern on Alzheimer’s residents in a homelike setting.
We have a bathing area designed for the Alzheimer’s
resident’s comfort using aroma and music therapy.
We have a flat-screen television with surround-
sound for easy viewing and listening.

Activities are planned specifically for the Alzheimer’s
residents. Bus rides are available every Wednesday
for residents who are able to participate. The ride will
go to a specific area or just ride around the country.
A secured backyard and patio area allows safe
access to the outdoors. Our backyard has a whisper
glide swing, awnings, tables, chairs, and barbecue
grills for family gatherings and special events.
